Road to Gyaru

So I was thinking of something monthly I could do for the people who read my blog. So I decided on doing a post each month about my favorite Gyaru magazine of the month. I will probably be putting a few of my favorite pages and then telling why its my favorite. So here is the first post!! So this month my favorite magazine had to be Ageha. I love all the sexiness in the fashion. 








So I love these pages because they show all the different fashion. I also love the darker colors in the magazine its some of my favorite to wear. Also I noticed they had a lot of red accessories throughout the magazine which I also love. They had some cool eye makeup tutorials which are in Japanese but they have pictures. I absolutely adored the contouring and highlighting page which I will put below. 




These pages have been helping me tremendously with my contouring so I decided to share them with you in hopes it helps you also.All in all this magazine was awesome and I can't wait for next months.

I did have blue tights on also which I took off because I had took a nep before this. lol

             Hey everyone, I was doing absolutely nothing so I decided to do something useful and blog. So since I have been dressing Gyaru (or attempting to lol) I have noticed all the looks I have been getting. It kinda of funny if you ask me I enjoy wearing my style out and the looks good or bad don't phase me. This is what I am kinda surprised about, if you know me which probably not any of you do. In all my life I have been a pretty shy closed off girl, I had major social anxiety. I did not feel comfortable in really any social situation. Even things as simple as ordering things off menus at restaurants I couldn't do.  I also had very low self esteem and thought so poorly of myself. I only had a few friends at every school I went to (which was ALOT) because I could not connect to many people. This was like this until just a couple months ago, I don't really know what it was that woke me up. Maybe it was how tired I was of not having any friends or people I could connect with but I think all in all it was because I started respecting myself. After this I got a major boost in confidence and I started actually enjoying social situations. I have made so many good friends in just the 4 to 5 months then I have made my whole life before that. As I had said in a past post I had found out about all the Gyaru sub styles when I was around 17 or 18 but I just now started having the confidence to decide that's what I want to do.  So now its amazing to see how far I have come and that all those bad stares do not bother me and I do what I enjoy. I know some Gals or even just the random people coming across this blog have gone through this anxiety and I want you all to know you can beat it. It takes time and work but you got to respect and cherish yourself before you can feel totally relaxed in any situation. Confidence is always a good thing to have but being over confident is bad.  Well off to go get my day started if you read through this all and have anything you would like to talk about just comment. :) 

So my first pair of circle lenses finally came in!! These are the lenses I decided on ordering. They came in about 2 weeks after I ordered. Geo Starmish Brown Color: 4/5 The color was really nice it came lighter than what was on the picture but I am happy because they look more natural that way.    Comfort: 4/5 The comfort is pretty nice I can not feel them mostly but after about 6 to 8 hours I start to feel them a bit more but not bad at all.    I will be adding a little update later on in the week after I have worn them for a few more days. This will be a post of my outfits from the past couple of weeks and the inspiration for them if any. After this post I will be doing them each day separate and not so many at once.  I would love if you would write any advice or opinion on them. Other than that here are the pics enjoy! :)

Hello, my name is Angelica. I am 21 and live in Colorado, USA. This first post will be a quick introduction, and will explain what I plan to do with this blog.

By the title you can tell I am into Japanese culture. This started since I was very young, my Uncles woyld watch anime all the time in front of me. I always enjoyed watching them and never stopped. By the time I was 15 or 16 I came across some Japanese fashion I seen on a website. The first one I came across was the Ganguro, after this I started to look up anything I could about Japan and read up on the culture. This is when I came across the normal Gyaru style and I fell in love at once. I always had low confidence and never thought about trying it out until recently. I feel my confidence had risen massivley and I am now starting to get into the Gyaru culture. This blog will practically be about my experiences and feelings about becoming a Gyaru, also just different tips and tricks I pick up on the way. I am not only looking to tell my journey but to also help people on theirs in the future. I would love any advice on what I should look toward on this journey. Thanks for reading!!
